• Evasion

  Evasion lets an officer dodge incoming attacks and temporarily pull away from pressure on the front line.

• Just Evasion

  Timing an evasion correctly against a strong enemy triggers a Just Evasion that can be followed with a counterattack.

• Perfect Power Guard

  A correctly timed Perfect Power Guard deflects an enemy attack and can stun the attacker, creating an opening.

  The remaster preserves the series' large-scale 1-vs-1,000 battlefield focus while adding the new defensive mechanics.

Compare the four main battle modes and choose the right one for story progression, unrestricted battles, score challenges or competitive play. Progression items, equipment and weapons collected in Free Mode can also carry over to other modes.

• Musou Mode

  Play an individual officer's story through Three Kingdoms battles, unlock additional officers and access new scenarios by fulfilling battle conditions.

• Free Mode

  Combine officers and scenarios more freely, including hypothetical situations where an officer can fight alongside forces that would normally be enemies.

• Challenge Mode

  Compete for scores in challenges including Endurance, Time Attack and Assault, covering enemy defeats, completion speed and combo performance.

• VS Mode

  Compete against another player across eight stages with special rules, including Three Duels at Hulao Pass and Naval Annihilation at Chibi.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 Remastered Co-op and Split Screen

Set up the returning offline two-player experience for cooperative or competitive battles. Split-screen support is available across multiple modes, but the officially listed features focus on local play rather than online co-op.

• Musou Mode

  Musou Mode supports offline two-player split-screen so two players can fight through campaign battles together.

• Free Mode

  Free Mode can also be played in split screen, allowing two players to enter selected scenarios together.

• VS Mode

  VS Mode uses local two-player play for head-to-head challenges with stage-specific rules.

• Steam Features
